My Baby Boy is 8!!!!

So, today is Bennett's birthday. He is 8. He had a great morning hanging out with his dad and then we took him to Toys'r'Us to pick out his own B-day gift. He was overwhelmed but after about 45 minutes of loving everything he settled on a Nerf Dart Tag Set. He has already had a blast playing with it. Then we took the kids to their open houses for school. Hard to believe that summer is over and school starts on Thursday. It went by really fast.

But, back to the reason for the post. It is hard for me to fathom that 8 years ago today Bennett was born. Anyone who knows how my pregnancy went with him knows that the fact he is 8 today is a miracle and I am eternally grateful. The older my kids get the older I feel. But I am so thankful to have 2 healthy happy kids who are so great. Bennett has really grown up this past year. He is turning into a little man.
